1 - Weather Report, Politics, & Entertainment

What’s Happening Today

Today, it’s 85 degrees outside, and we’ve got a 15% chance of rain. Around here, that could mean it will be very, very wet, but I think the odds are against it today. The grass is green enough, and it’s busy growing. The birds are enjoying the food in their feeders (as are the squirrels). I’ve got the hummingbird feeder washed and ready to fill it with some nutritious sweet stuff. Our fishies are doing quite well. They know it's feeding time when I go out to sit on the bench.

 Politics

Tomorrow, Donald Trump is supposed to present himself for an arraignment. I hope all goes well. Hopefully it will go smoothly, and he will be able to have his day in court just like a normal citizen. Of course, Donald Trump is anything but normal, and his arraignment is definitely unprecedented. Of course, having a known criminal in the White House was unprecedented for all of us.

They’re having a pretty important election in Wisconsin tomorrow. The Republican political machine started an active plan to steal the state from its citizens over ten years ago. That plan included redistricting the state so it was virtually impossible for anyone other than a Republican to be elected. The people of Wisconsin want to fix that by eliminating districts that favor one political party over another. Fairness. What a concept.

Entertainment

Sandy and I watched Murder Mystery 2 last night on Netflix. If you haven’t seen the first Murder Mystery with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, watch it first. They are connected. Admittedly, it’s not highbrow entertainment, but you figured that out when I mentioned Adam Sandler. He’s an interesting actor. He can do some really good stuff, but he can also do some really, really bad stuff. These movies are simply entertainment. Don’t over-think them. Just sit back and enjoy. I found myself actually laughing! Quite a bit.

Wrapping It All Up

Let me know what you think.

Take care. Stay Safe.
